CONFIRMED: The Kapil Sharma Show To Go Off Air! Here’s All You Need To Know About It

Once called the king of comedy, Kapil Sharma’s bad days seem to have begun, thanks to the infamous fight which took place between him and Sunil Grover in a flight while returning to India from Australia.

Following the ugly spat, Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar and Sugandha Mishra stopped coming for the shooting of the reality comedy show and gradually, TRPs of “The Kapil Sharma Show” started falling down. And now it has reached a state from where it seems to finish.

Yes, you read that right! The Kapil Sharma Show might go off air and now a miracle only can save it as well as the comedian. Here’s what a source from the TKSS team revealed,

“The makers are definitely not ready to pay Rs 107 crore for a show which is getting them nothing. Kapil might negotiate but the channel heads are shocked. Either Kapil has to get back Sunil and Ali, else his show stands scrapped. The latter is most likely to happen because Grover and Asgar are not ready to budge from their stand.”

Undoubtedly, absence of Asgar and Grover cost a great deal to makers and the show in view of the fact that TRPs are falling down beyond expectations. Last year, TKSS was able to retain its position at the time of IPL and was one of the top 5 shows; however, this year, it’s nowhere to be seen even in the list of top 10.

Needless to say, audience no more finds the jokes funny and barely laughs at them. Furthermore, new entries in the show have failed to create their magic on viewers who are badly missing Grover. Above all, Sony channel saw a decrease of two spots among GECs on account of TKSS’ failure.

It’s surely a disheartening news for all the fans of Kapil Sharma who have been assuming that Grover could patch up with him; nevertheless, it didn’t seem to happen!
