PM Modi Reacted Over Controversy About Gau Rakshaks! Here’s What He Tweeted

There have been many unfortunate incidents which have led to killing of people due to cow protection and it was high time that PM Modi should make a statement on it. People believe that if PM talks about it then the state governments will also give more importance to this issue.

While speaking at the centenary celebrations at Sabarmati ashram, PM Modi broke his silence and said that Mahatma Gandhi would have never supported such acts and cow vigilantes have no right to take law in their hands.

Here are the tweets posted by PM official account:

“We are a land of non violence. We are the land of Mahatma Gandhi. Why do we forget that?”

“Killing people in the name of Gau Bhakti is not acceptable. This is not something Mahatma Gandhi would approve.”

“As a society, there is no place for violence.”

“Violence never has and never will solve any problem.”

“Let’s all work together. Let’s create the India of Mahatma Gandhi’s dreams. Let’s create an India our freedom fighters would be proud of!”
